installing waves plugins without waves central

The Waves support page only lists Logic Pro X as being supported for Waves 9, but I've read that other users have been running it with LP9 without problem. Is that correct? I e-mailed Waves tech support but haven't heard back in a couple days. Tried restarting in both 32-bit and 64-bit mode, just in case, same result.Īre there any steps I'm missing?
